Simple Landscape Tonal Studies
During this watercolor painting tutorial I talk about using tonal values to create simple landscapes in the studio or at home from memories and photos. These kinds of quick watercolor 'sketches' or paintings can loosen you up and provide inspiration or just practice for future work. In addition making lots of small paintings at once can be an exciting and easy way to get back into painting after a break or when wanting to move on to a different project.
